Calling all ladies!! Hello Ladies! It's been a while since I last updated the page. So here goes. We are having Branch function in October at the Tong Conservative Club with an entertainer. We are hoping to invite several other branches and R.N.A's along. I'm looking for some willing volunteers that could help put together a buffet and some other ideas for the evening. We were hoping the men were going to put together a 'Sods' opera or maybe that was just the cider talking. You would all be made very welcome on the evenings that we have the meetings. The club hold a quiz starting at 9.30pm even if you wanted to come for a quick drink please feel free its would be great to see you all.
We donated some shoeboxes to a Christmas appeal. The boxes were filled with Christmas goodies and some personal messages. We are hoping to do the same again this year but to a greater quantity. If you have any shoe boxes or even if you can start saving them I would be very grateful. These boxes were sent out to our boys and girls serving in Basra and other areas. They were all very touched by the parcels.
